This little owl has a very nippon accent, at least on this first video conceived & directed by by Kurtis Hough. “La Lechuza” is Esmerine’s third album (Rebecca Foon & Bruce Cawdron) which after six years bring us this highly instrumental set which was written and sung by Lhasa de Sela with accompaniment by Bruce and Rebecca, which they recorded together before Lhasa passed away.
Released under our beloved Constellation Records this beautiful but painful medievalesque work also includes guest appearances by Patrick Watson (piano, vocals), Colin Stetson (horns), Sarah Neufeld (violin).. amongst others. Give it ago, you won’t regret it.
