Blinky™ is your friend, well, maybe not jut yet but he wants to, and he’s trying really really hard, so you should give him the opportunity to…
And we know he’s really trying because his smile is somehow not natural… what can you do when you have no real friends but to pretend?
Mr Ruairi Robinson is behind this new sci-fi short starring Max Records (the kid from Where the wild things are) and with music from Ólafur Arnalds. Yesterday the video only had less than 10K views (having been posted last Friday) and today? Well you just have to go to the video’s page… over 120K!
An Irish production (INF, RTE) with Alturas Films (California) and obviously the directing talent of Ruari Robinson (The Silent City, Fifty Percent Grey)… you know the 33 y.o. Irish director who was nominated for an Oscar at the age of 23 for precisely his amazing short with another well-known Irish… Cillian Murphy in “50% Grey”.
You can see more of his works in his webpage and some of his commercials on his Vimeo page, unfortunately his Silent City short is not available on-line anymore (boooooooo, well it’s actually watchable here!) but there’s much more to watch.
