After playing with Jack White & Death Weather for the last couple of  years  Alison Mosshart has come back to Jamie Hince’s arms and the band that has made her one of the most iconic rock symbols (for brands mainly) in the past 5 years: The Kills

Their fourth album “Blood Pressures” had already been finished pretty much last year but you know how labels are… always waiting for the correct moment, so the release date? April 4th (5th for the USA). Jamie and Alison returned to Key Club Studios, Michigan where they reunited with Midnight Boom engineers Bill Skibbe and Jessica Ruffins. Produced by Jamie Hince, the album was mixed in London by Tom Elmhirst.

First single: Satellite.. the essence is there, hopefully as delicate, deafening and addictive as their previous works… will all these past months of trendy advertising campaigns have spoilt them? The video directed by Sophie Muller (supposed to be a “noir” road trip) isn’t their best, nor the single in itself but we keep great hopes for their anglophone blood.
