Any film that might come after “Exit through the gift shop” and somehow related to street-art could be seen as opportunistic. But to be fair the people behind the toasters have been sticking & fixing their b&w appliance for many many years now…
The documentary comes out this next spring & “features previously unseen footage of preparation and execution of some of our most recognizable pieces. Along with exclusive interviews and new works there is of course the odd sticker, here, there and everywhere!”

Just like the French Space invaders the toasters are one of those street icons that have decorated our streets giving them many times a much more enjoyable aspect. Since 1999 they’ve been appearing on posters, banners, stickers and murals all over the world from berlin, stockholm, los angeles, san francisco, tokyo, rio de janeiro, sao paulo….. haven’t you see them?
