Not all crazy and toyish music devices come from Japan (even if the CEO behind this company, Yoshinari Yoshikawa, is Japanese…). Neiro, a new “social music device” by Silicon Valley startup Miselu just presented their first invention @ …

We’ve been saying 2011 is the year of the tablet for a while now. Apple may have set the referent (as usual), Android and Honeycomb are about to explode and Asus was just the first @CES to unveil a few of those netbook cannibals…
3 Android tablets (Slider, Transformer & MeMO) & a Win7 (Slate) one were just unveiled a few minutes ago @ the yearly consumer tech event in Las Vegas: CES 2011.
And even though we still prefer to see what Motorola, Acer, HTC, Samsung and… pretty much any other consumer device manufacturer has prepared for Honeycomb, we’re already dribbling with the Slider & the MeMO.
In this second case Asus has packed a 7-inch, 1024 x 600, 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8260 processor, 2 cameras (1.2 megapixel front, 5 megapixel rear with LED flash) in something that they describe as “a perfect blend of tablet and smartphone”…. if you add the capacitive stylus, a pressure-sensivity screen and the beautiful Bluetooth headset (named MeMic)… everything for 500 or 700 US $$ (depending on memory) and a release date of June.
As we just said, time to wait for the rest of the brands & see who offers more for less.
and the bluetooth headset... MeMic
