If Michelle Morin had been born in the 18-19th century when all those British scientists used to patiently paint all those new species of plants, lichens, animals, insects… she probably would have been named a royal illustrator…
Michelle (known on her Etsy space as unitedthread) lives and works on the beautiful North Shore in Salem, Massachusetts with her fiancé (who is also a painter), lovable dog, and sometimes lovable cat. She grew up in southern New Hampshire and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston with a BFA in painting and art history. After college she moved to Portland, Oregon where she worked at a plant farm and greenhouse.
