↓ Diamond in you
Tatsuo Miyajima‘s latest LED & mirror works may look mere decorative lamps & reopen the debate of ephemeral art but even if we considered them as such (mere objects) you would probably still want them hanging on your wall….
Tatsuo was born in 1957 in Japan & now lives in Ibaraki. He began by making performance art, but since 1987 has been constructing installations using LED counters. “Diamond in you” is one of his latest works with the Counter coal for the Iwaki art triennale. These series are made from LED, stainless mirror, iron, and electric wire.
many more of his works on his website or just visit the flickr series.
