↓ Converse Music
After the American campaign a couple of years ago with artists such as Pharrell, Santogold or Julian Casablancas, here comes the British one which is invading the London tube these days…
Throughout the year all the following artists will be engaged with Converse Music: Palola Faith, Bill Ryder-Jones, Michael Hibbert (Chapel Club), Graham Coxon, Mez (The Neat), Hudson Mohawke, Tigs (Chew Lips), Tom Hudson (Pulled Apart by Horses), Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Bernard Summer, Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), Benz (Hot City), Dj Haus (Hot City), Laura-Mary Carter (Blood Red Shoes) and Lewis Bowman (Chapel Club)…
As part of this “collaboration” (sure they weren’t paid) which aims to “celebrate the creativity and diversity of the UK music scene” Hot Chip, Bernard Sumner and Hot City have collaborated on Didn’t Know What Love Was a track for Converse which will also have a music video.
Many other remixes from the other artists will be released, and a Converse music tour is also being prepared…
The second single, released in January, will feature Paloma Faith, Blur’s Graham Coxon and Bill Rider-Jones, formerly of The Coral. Like the Brit mash-up?
