Whim: Mint Cube

↓ Whim: Mint Cube

Mintpass is an open & futuristic Korean company which has designed some lovely devices & connectivity solutions. One of the latest ones is this “Mint Cube” or as they call it a “Men’s music player”…

The Korean-clean and pure style (like iRiver or Cowon) is constantly present in their products. In this case Mintpass believe that men also care about the external look of their mp3s (thus the success of the iPod), that’s why “fashionable and tech savvy” men will like it.

its retro style doesn't mean outdated as it includes bluetooth

Three analog indicators one for the radio, one for the battery and another one for the Volume (imitating the ones we find in the high-end audio systems).  The lack of “digital” is also evident in the way the player works… those buttons at the top are also analog and as there is no LED light or anything the way to check the status of your player is to simply look at which buttons are pressed, like with the old cassette players.

Unfortunately The Cube is only a concept (for now) which apparently measures 50x50x50 …. they have some great great ideas those of Mintpass.
