There are lots of short-film festivals every year (maybe too many). The Notodo Film Fest started in 2001 and in this its 8th edition lots of originality and big prizes are expected. Like this Fêmina Domus, part of last year’s winners.

Jim-Box (Jaime Fernández Miranda) is behind this rather surreal short about a world “macho” strategy to put back things “in order” and make women stay at home again.

In this festival shiny or expensive effects or post-production are simply ignored, what it counts is the plot and the originality of the stories…
